Mini storage facilities provide individuals & businesses the option to store items in individually-lockable storage units, housed in a clean, well-lit, humidity-controlled and secure self-storage facility. In KingKho’s case, or facility is located at 2nd Floor, CT2 The Pride Building, Nguyen Thanh Binh Street, in Ha Dong District, Hanoi.

Our storage facility is located on Nguyen Thanh Binh Street, 2nd floor on CT2 The Pride Building, Ha Dong, about a 15min car ride in the west of downtown Hanoi. Very close to Aeonmall Hadong, Duong Noi and the Van Phuc Silk Village. You can park directly in our compound. Find us on Google Maps

Storing your items with KingKho is simple and straightforward!  Call us on 024 777 000 88 (Mrs. Ly), or fill out our contact form.  If we have your desired storage unit size available, visit our facility (Google maps link), bring your passport and items, and your new storage unit is ready when you are.

When you like to rent a unit with us, simply let us know when you will be visiting our facility, please bring
1/ passport
2/ credit card, cash or bank details
3/ phone number and email address
4/ the items you like to store.
5/ a padlock/lock if you have one (available for sale as well).

Our facility manager will then help you to sign the rental agreement.

With self-storage, prices depend on your unit size: Smaller Units like 1m2 cost less than larger ones with 50+m2. In self-storage, you can rent by the m2 and cancel your contract by the end of each week, hence there is no risk and long-term commitment. We will charge you for example by month for long-term rentals, or by week for short-term rentals.

Yes. In fact, about 50% of our customers are individuals. We all have things we don’t want to throw away but still keep somewhere safe! Self-Storage is perfect for situations like this. Many families use their storage unit as their garage or attic, freeing up valuable space at home!

Individual customers often store items such as furniture, sports equipment, books, computers, audio equipment, photo albums, memorabilia, souvenirs, deco items, etc.  Business customers usually store items such as products, merchandise, documents, archives, furniture or office supplies.

Our storage units come in many sizes, from S, M to L or even XL!  We surely have the right size for you, catering to both individual and business customers alike. Interesting fact: The average unit size of our first 100 customers is 4m2.

Following items are not allowed to be stored in our facility: food, drinks, batteries, humans, animals, tires, combustible, inflammable or toxic materials, weapons, ammunition, stolen items, live plants, drugs or other illegal items. There is no difference. Mini storage and self-storage are two different terms for the same type of storage.

F.A.Q.

During Your Rental

You can access your unit anytime between 8am – 9pm, any time of the week including weekends. If you need to access your unit outside those hours, please get in touch with our facility manager prior to your visit, and we’ll try and arrange. Please note that the facility manager’s office hours are as follows: on-Friday: 8am -5 pm and on Sat: 8am-12 pm / Sun: closed.

Yes. You can buy padlocks and several other useful packaging and moving supplies at our reception

Simply inform us about your desired move-out date and our facility manager will prepare the final invoice. Then visit our facility, remove your keylock and when you have finished clearing out your space, just stop by our reception to let us know you’ve vacated your unit.

Not a problem.  Usually when you go through the sign up process, our facility manager will help you figure out the right unit size! Many people overestimate the unit size they need.  In other words, they end up needing less space as they thought.  Should you need less or more space later on, also not an issue – as you rent your unit usually week by week, you can easily make changes along the way.

Self-storage facilities usually do not get broken into, because of the on-site 24/7 security personnel, CCTVs, well-lit environment, and the fact that you can not see the content of each unit. Nevertheless, should it happen, we’d instantly call and work with the local law enforcement.

We typically recommend to buy a PAR Insurance (Property All Risks) in order to get compensation for damages and losses of property at any time during the storage period. The sum insured should be equal or greater than the total value of the Goods.

At KingKho adding additional self storage space is simple, you simply inform our facility manager about your storage needs, and s/he will let you know what appropriate units are available.

Questions Regarding Our Facility

Yes. We offer some easy-to-use trolley (=loading carts) at no cost to you at our facility.

Yes. We have large padlocks, scissors, tape, moving boxes, etc., ready available for you to purchase when needed.

Our facility (not each storage unit!) is humidity-controlled. What we mean by that is that we ensure the humidity level is low and that there is sufficient air circulation. We do not offer ACs or storage units requiring special cooling, such as wine storage. Please keep in mind that the storage of any type of food or drinks that can go bad is simply prohibited.

No. Only you will know what’s in your unit, and only you will get to keep the key!

Yes. Providing a safe environment and a secure facility is our top concern. Only customers can enter our premises, after passing through our staffed gate. Every customer access is then recorded and logged. All floors have smoke detectors, fire alarms, CCTV cameras and are very well-lit. Free car parking directly in front of the entrance door is also available.

All our facilities have industrial-type dehumidifiers installed, sensors to monitor humidity levels, ceiling fans running 24/7 to ensure sufficient air circulation, and enough daylight to ensure a humidity-controlled environment. We do not have AC running, but the above-mentioned points ensure a dry, temperature-controlled environment.

Billing And Payment Questions

We offer several options, listed below.  For details, please visit our ‘Payment’ page.

A) Bank Transfer (most used option)   Fees (automatically paid by the payer): 0,1%-0,8%

B) Pay in cash at our facility (in VND)

C) Pay via credit card at our facility: Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, etc.
Fees (automatically paid by the payer):
– Visa/Master Cards: 1.76%
– CUP: + JCB: 2.2%
– Dinner + AMEX: 3%

D) Paypal (not recommended due to 4,5% fees, to be added to invoice amount).

Most customers pay 1-2 months upfront. Should you wish to terminate the rental agreement before its expiration, you forfeit any unused prepaid rent, and shall pay the entirety of any unpaid contractual sum.

The minimum rental period is two weeks, thereafter you can extend week by week. The average unit rental time for our customers is about 4-6 months.

Rental periods vary greatly, but in average, 10% rent units for less then 3 months, 40% for less then a year, and 50% for one year or longer!

No, simply inform us ahead of time that you „wish to renew“ for how long, then once you paid it’s all good. Please note that the Rent shall be paid prior to the due date.
