When thinking about the perfect storage unit size, many of our customers tell us that they ended up needing significantly less space than originally thought! With this post we like to share some general guidelines and tips to make it easier for you when starting your self-storage journey!
Small units: Small units have a storage unit size of approx. 1-3m². Such unit size is ideal if you like to store smaller possessions such as documents, photo albums, computers, lamps, small furniture, and anything you can physically carry, really. In particular individual customers and students use this size, as our one-cubic meter units are ideal for storing documents, books, folders, and anything you don’t want to be thinking of while on vacation!
Medium units: Our medium units are slightly larger, approx. 3-6m². With a unit height of typically two metres, you can conveniently store furniture, appliances, suitcases, skis and packing boxes.
Large units: Our large mini storage units range between 6-10m² and provide storage for large pieces of furniture, such as tables and cupboards. Some of our clients use their units to store sports equipment and other general bulky pieces. Large units are also idea for quickly-growing startups, as they need to remain flexible and require easy access to a storage facility which is 24/7 available to them.
XL units: These are our largest unit sizes! XL units start at 10m² and go up to 100m². They come in very handy when moving house or apartment, or when you need a place to store large amounts of large, sturdy items!
