What is sample storage?
Our sample storage solution in Vietnam helps sourcing companies, buying offices, and quality control firms (QC) to store master samples of products currently under development, or waiting for final approval.
By storing master samples, sometimes also called goldens samples or approval samples, in one of our cost-effective storage units, the relevant teams of our customers can enlarge, add to, or reduce required space on a weekly basis, while having access to their samples 24/7.

How do buying offices & QC firms use sample storage?
50% of our buying office customers rent one large unit (L unit) to store all their master samples. The other 50% prefer to rent several cheap small storage units (S units) to have a physical separation per sample or per customer.
Pro Tip: Use cylinder locks on your storage unit door! By this you can easily grant your QC staff, buying agent, customer, supplier or logistics partner access to the master sample!

What is sample storage?
Sample storage provides sourcing companies, buying offices, or QC firms in Asia the option to store master samples (sometimes also called golden samples/ approval samples) in individually lockable storage units, housed in our clean, well-lit, humidity-controlled, and secure self-storage facility in Hanoi.
With self-storage, you can easily increase or reduce the space rented by either adding a very affordable S unit, renting another M unit or tranfering your items to a smaller unit.
Our facility is located at Van Phuc Road 103, in Ha Dong District., about a 20-minute drive from downtown.
What is my first step?
If you are a QC company or sourcing office and like to store items with us, you can simply give us a call at +84(0)853 103 103 (Ms. Ly), or fill out our contact form.
If we have your desired mini storage unit size available, visit our facility (Google maps link), bring your passport and items, and your new storage unit will be ready when you are.
What do I need to bring when I want to rent a unit?
When you like to rent a unit with us, simply let us know when you will be visiting our facility, please bring
1/ passport
2/ credit card, cash, or bank details
3/ phone number and email address
4/ the items you like to store.
5/ a padlock/lock if you have one (available for sale as well).
Our facility manager will then help you to sign the rental agreement.
How much does sample storage cost?
With sample storage for QC firms or buying offices in Asia, prices depend on your unit size.
Most of our sample storage customers rent L units (6-12m2) that are big enough.
You can rent units by the square meter/foot and cancel your contract by the end of each week, hence there is no risk and long-term commitment.
We will charge you for example by month for long-term rentals, or by week for short-term rentals.
What do other sample storage customers put in their units?
Most of our sample storage customers store master/golden/approval samples of products that are currently under development, waiting for final approval, or are kept for pure backup purposes.
Often these are pieces of furniture, appliances, tools, computers, or other general equipment.

Following items are not allowed to be stored in our facility: humans, animals, tires, combustible, inflammable or toxic materials, weapons, ammunition, stolen items, food items, live plants, drugs or other illegal items.

How to get started with sample storage?
Signing up for sample storage is as easy as renting a regular self-storage unit with us.
First, get in touch via the contact form on this page.
Once you have an appointment with our facility manager, simply bring the items you like to store.
Sign our simple storage rental agreement, pay, get the key, go to your unit, lock your items, and you are done!
After that, only you have the key, and only you can open your unit.
